We manage allergies. Allergies can present in many ways.

Ear related allergies present as recurring itchy draining ears, dizzy spells, a plugging sensation in the ears, hearing loss, and in some cases ringing (or tinnitus).
Nasal allergies are associated with runny noses (rhinitis), post nasal drip, nasal polyps, headaches, congestion, decreased smell, and recurrent sinusitis.
Throat symptoms range from a constant itchy throat to hoarseness and difficulty swallowing.
Allergy testing and allergy shots are done at our practice locations. We follow the guidelines established by the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

Preserving hearing and balance are important to us. We have a dedicated team of ear surgeons (otologists) and audiologists working together to provide the best outcomes. Our sophisticated labs can do the following evaluations:

Comprehensive vestibular (balance) testing
Audiograms (Hearing Tests) are performed in our soundproof rooms.
Advanced electrophysiologic testing to detect some of the rare problems
Fall Risk Assesments

Speech and Swallowing are common problems seen in our practice. New for 2007 is a state of the art voice and swallowing lab. It is staffed by an experienced team of doctors and speech pathologist. Our team provides the following services:

Stroboscopy with voice analysis
Functional Endoscopic Swallowing Studies
Esophageal Endoscopy with pH analysis
Laryngeal Sensory Testing.
